In this domain we are implementing a robust research and development program in existing and novel compounds and products for improving and maintaining people’s health, wellbeing, and recovery from injury, disorders and infection. This includes the rapid screening of existing natural products that have potential for fighting infections or pandemics.
We are also developing novel products and combinations of existing products for the treatment and prevention of infections as well as neurotrauma, autoimmune diseases, ischemia (cardiac and brain), radiation poisoning and cancers.
Goals: - Screen existing commercial, natural products for effectiveness in viral infections and other pandemic agents.
- Identify novel, natural products for the treatment of trauma, infection and other pandemic agents.
