CHRONIC PAIN WEbinar

April 7, 2016
1 - 2 pm EDT

The CDC and FDA's new guidelines are succinct and to the point: Non-pharmacologic and non-opioid pharmacologic therapies are preferred for chronic pain. If opioids are required they should be combined with non-pharmacologic and non-opioid approaches.

Samueli Institute—a national leader in integrative pain management—is hosting an informational webinar on best practices in non-pharmacologic pain care.

Join us to learn how other forward-thinking hospitals and clinics have integrated evidence-based solutions, such as massage therapy, acupuncture, and self-care, to achieve exceptional results, including:

  • A decrease in the number of patients relying on opioids for chronic pain
  • An increase in the number of patients using non-pharmacologic and self-care approaches for pain
  • An increase in quality of life and patient function
  • And an increase in integration of providers and team satisfaction

Samueli Institute’s information session will share state of the art ideas in integrative chronic pain care, best practice methodology, approaches, and measurements, from the 2015 pilot breakthrough collaborative experience of innovative organizations.
