How do I make a gift to Samueli Institute?

You can make a donation in the following ways:

  • Make a gift by phone using a credit card by calling 703.299.4801 Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. EST.
  • Mail your donation to: Samueli Institute Development Office, 1737 King Street, Suite 600; Alexandria, VA 22314
  • Donate online using a credit card (coming soon). We will accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes, the Samueli Institute is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit medical research organization.  Donations to the Samueli Institute are tax deductible to the extent allowable under state and federal law.  You will receive an acknowledgement of your gift, which may be used as a record of your donation for tax purposes.

Have you received my donation?

To find out if we have received your donation, please call 703.299.4801, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. EST. We will also mail a donation acknowledgement to you as soon as possible.

How much of what I donate actually benefits Samueli Institute programs and research?

Every cent contributed to the Institute is used specifically to support the mission of the Institute. There are no administrative fees deducted.

How do I make a bequest to Samueli Institute? I'd like to set up a charitable remainder trust or gift annuity.
