Purpose & Focus
To establish a uniquely balanced forum of leading scientists and practitioners that supports the dialogue relevant to a critical review of past publications, present clinical trials, and future needs and goals for work in the areas of spirituality, energy, intentionality and consciousness. Efforts will be directed toward discussion of the methods, ethics and practical issues involved in research on spirituality and healing; the development of new collaborative relationships and contributions to the vision of key research agendas.
Audience
Basic and clinical research scientists, health providers, government officials involved in research policy
Outcome
Conference Proceedings were published June 2002. A book (LINK TO BOOK) containing the edited papers, an annotated bibliography and summaries of the discussion was published by Churchill Livingstone in 2003.
