As Director of Knowledge Services for the Samueli Institute, Sita Ananth, MHA, is responsible for developing and implementing programs that translate the knowledge and research in integrative healthcare and Optimal Healing Environments into practical, usable tools for healthcare organizations. 

Prior to this position, she was program director of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) for Health Forum, a subsidiary of the American Hospital Association, where she was responsible for designing and developing CAM initiatives that included conferences and national hospital CAM surveys of its members. She writes regularly on integrative healthcare and optimal healing environments for hospital audiences. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature and psychology, and a master’s degree in health services administration from George Washington University.
